Cosigüina volcano sits in far North West corner of Nicaragua where it meets with Honduras and El Salvador on the Golfo De Fonseca. The slopes of this impressive volcano are covered with a unique dry forest habitat that is home to abundant flora and fauna, including the endangered scarlet macaw.
From the summit you are rewarded with stunning views of the Pacific Ocean and the neighboring countries of El Salvador and Honduras. This region is full of some of Nicaragua's most beautiful and untouched beaches. We take you to one of our favorites to spend the night.
